ankieditor is a free web tool that helps you edit Anki card templates without writing code. Anyone can use it with no sign-up and nothing to install. By using this site you agree to the terms below.
2. Your Templates and Data
Templates you paste into the editor or create with it are yours. Your templates and settings are stored only in your browser's storage (localStorage) and are never sent to the operator's server, which also means the operator cannot recover them for you. They are deleted along with your browser data if you clear it, so keep a separate copy of any template you care about with [Copy Code].
3. Limitation of Liability
ankieditor is provided as is. The operator does not guarantee that code produced by the editor will look the same on every Anki version and device. Before pasting edited code into Anki, please keep a copy of your existing template. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss of templates or card data arising from use of this tool.
4. Relationship to Anki
ankieditor is an unofficial tool made by an individual. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Anki developers. Names such as Anki, AnkiDroid, and AnkiMobile belong to their respective owners.
5. Articles and Images on This Site
The operator holds the rights to the articles and images on this site. You are welcome to link to them and quote short passages with attribution, but republishing whole articles is not permitted. You may freely use the CSS code shown in the articles in your own Anki cards.
